【Job Scope】
This system performance engineer will be responsible for understanding the customer and internal system requirement, detail implementation of sensor algorithms in conjunction with core & application development team, and driving the needed modification from customer perspective. This individual will also support resolving performance-related issues locally for Japan customers. This skill set will be applied to mainly awarded production programs but will also be needed for business capture purposes.
Until current production project completion (up to 2 years), this individual will be located at customer development site for 3 to 4 days a week, join customer’s internal meeting and events, support customer development and exchange necessary information between customer and internal development team in timely. After project completion, this individual will be mainly located at company's office.

・Validation of Camera- and Radar-based Driver Assistance Systems
・Assists to define requirements definition and analysis of system specification
・Develop, prepare and review test specifications
・Prepare and install equipment in vehicle and debug equipment data
・Responsible for Camera and Radar installation and calibration
・Perform vehicle performance tests accordingly to performance specification
・Analysis, documentation and interpretation of test results by using simulation and
analysis tools like Matlab or Vector tools (development of scripts)
・Issue reporting into DAS development organization
・Support DAS development on both company and customer side
・Engineering Task Management: Manage engineering related action items/questions, issues and customer/internal development schedule to close open items in a timely manner. Provide customer engineering support about Functions, SW, HW and Algorithm related technical questions with working with global Discipline team.
・Schedule Management: Develop development schedule and Design Content Roll-out Plan (DCRP) based on customer expectation, milestones and internal milestones and manage it not to slip dead line. Customer negotiation included.
・Deliverables/Documents/Drawing management: Clarify and Develop/Provide required deliverables in a timely manner not to miss milestones.
・Customer management: Understand customer expectations and increase customer satisfactions in technically.
・RFI/RFQ technical lead: Lead to clarify/organize RFI/RFQ analysis and to prepare for feedback/PPT, working with gloval Discipline team

1. To understand of system specification and work other functional team members in creating test procedure and plan, to check system functions on HIL tool.
2. Prepare test equipment on bench to meet testing requirements.
3. Conduct HIL testing bench setup. Activities involve function check of test system.

【Major Responsibilities 】
1. Make system and software requirements, by gathering and timely provide needed information. Fully capture customer requirements through reviews and manage them throughout the development.
2. Assess if the customer’s requirements can be satisfied by the current system design, by comparing the requirements to internal core system specifications. Negotiations with the customers to adjust requirements are to also be performed as necessary.
3. Create customer specific specifications and maintain them using internal management tools. Perform reviews with internal development and testing teams, to support design of system and test procedures.
4. Keep track of system test results, to ensure all specification items are satisfied. Give reports of development status to management periodically.
