【PRIMARY FUNCTION】
Primary concern of this position is to provide application engineering, calibration & field technical support, ensure product performance and conduct problem solutions, to meet with Japanese HEV customer’s expectation.

【ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS】
・Implement warranty to ensure it’s managed and cleared in a timely manner.
・Record and report incidents to team for Product Performance Review,
・On-going development and improvement of customer complaints processes.
・Document and maintain product performance info such as failures, fuel economy, reliability, etc.

【DIMENSIONS】
・First response to customer failure report within 2 hours
・Incident record 100%
・Efficiently manage spare parts inventory, spare parts availability 100%
・Maintain customer relationship and achieve excellent satisfaction

■求める経験
■SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
・Good command of the English language.
・Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to use diplomacy.
・Good technical product knowledge and overall vehicle systems
・Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical system design and troubleshooting
・4 year Bachelors degree in Engineering with Industry experience preferred, or a minimum 5 years equivalent industry and product experience.
・General knowledge relating to embedded driveline control products within the market
・Experience in technical service or application engineering for embedded driveline control products.
・Knowledge of software tools, CAN communication (J1939) & calibration of ECU.

【ADDITIONAL INFORMATION】
・4 year Bachelor degree in Engineering with industry experience preferred.
・High levels of negotiation skills to develop consistent content across different organizations, divisional, and individual goals.
・High levels of the skills mentioned above are required to standardize work efforts that result in continuous improvement given different input formats and output needs.
・Ability and flexibility to travel up to 50%
・Ability to drive a passenger car plus a Heavy / Light commercial vehicle
・Ability to perform product training activities at customer facilities
・Negotiation and adjudication skills related to Warranty
・Customer interface / communication skills
・Overall vehicle / engine knowledge
・Open to relocation and advancement within the company preferred
・Provide a monthly report detailing all activities
