【Mission】
The Process Engineer is responsible to ensure a smooth running system and software development process, method and tool-chain in his projects. He supports PM, R&D PTM and SW PM to identify gaps and inefficiencies. He coaches the projects team to process method and tools topics, or makes sure they get the coaching from respective sources. He takes gaps identified by SYS & SW Quality reviews, customer reviews or other reviews and tracks them to closure. He works closely together and is supported by the Process Owners and Key Users in the PL, PG, BG, and SMART and CDA PM&T departments.
【Ensure P0/P1 Project performance】
・Ensure project objectives in terms of profitability (product and development), quality,cost, timing.
・Check and validate Project Team Members activities and propose timing scenario to achieve milestones.
・Could conduct concept competitions to obtain customer orders (prefer, on case by case..)
・Secure Project resources and control team.
・Solve all P0/P1 project issues with support of simultaneous engineering functions.
【Manage functionally and operationally P0/P1 Project Team with function contributors】
・Define and manage his/her budget(P0/p1 all resources).
・Define scope of projects.
・Prepare project phases reviews at PMC and PVC level.
・Prepare and submit CAA and IAR.
・Is functionally responsible of all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Menbers.
・Manages all project charges from customers.

Your main role is to get more information from customer, to not stop the development progress.
As a main representative for software item in project team, you are the interface between Customers Japanese OEM (located in Japan) and the company's development teams (France).
In design phase, working with company's system design team, your actual engineering will be nearly same with as like as requirement engineering, to clarify customer system design requirements and expectations.
When start system validation term, you will be more focus to solve SW issue items. For first issue analysis, reproduce the issue. Logging. Triage for handle the issue as company's issue or not. When company finds the root cause and determined for how to fix, explain to customer of that root
cause and method to fix. Re-test with customer to prove the fix. Those items will become to your main tasks.
<DEFINITION OF GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES >
As representative for R&D in project team, you are the interface between Customers and Valeo teams. You pilot at the customer’s premises the R&D functions during the whole project development and support the Valeo Technical Project Manager with the technical management of development, integration & introduction to manufacturing of products.

DEFINITION OF GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND LOCATION’S PRESENTATION
As a main representative, you are the interface between Customers Japanese OEM (located in Japan) and the development teams (located in overseas).Your main role is to get more information from customer, to not stop the development progress, by clarifying customer system design requirements and expectations sharing with company's platform design.
You are involved from requirement analysis till mass production. When the system validation term starts, you will be more focus to solve the issue items detected by our customer. Validation team is aligned with you to find the root cause. Your task will be to explain the root causes and how to countermeasure it to our customer.

The main responsibilities of the role of PTM:
・Ensures smooth communication between the R&D Team and customer in regards to all R&D related topics at s+stem level.
・Breaks down the R&D scope of the system product using a functional decomposition.
・Drives the requirement management process for the R:D scope of the product and ensures that System requirements
are mapped to Functions/Features and Function Owners.
・Establishes and monitors a Level 2 R&D schedule aligned with the customer and company's milestones and the R&D Team.
・Defines the content of Releases (internal and to the customer) in alignment with the customer and drives the release
process.
・Manages the R&D Core Team and to ensures the alignment of all involved development Metiers such as System Architect, Function Owner Lead, Software PM Lead, Test Management Lead, Configuration Manager, and Functional Safety Manager.
