【PRIMARY FUNCTION】
Primary concern of this position is to provide application engineering, calibration & field technical support, ensure product performance and conduct problem solutions, to meet with Japanese HEV customer’s expectation.
【ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS】
・Implement warranty to ensure it’s managed and cleared in a timely manner.
・Record and report incidents to team for Product Performance Review,
・On-going development and improvement of customer complaints processes.
・Document and maintain product performance info such as failures, fuel economy, reliability, etc.

・First response to customer failure report within 2 hours

・Efficiently manage spare parts inventory, spare parts availability 100%
・Maintain customer relationship and achieve excellent satisfaction
【Responsibility】
1) Defines development targets, as well as customers' requirements and prepares the internal requirement manual (IRM)
2) Documents development steps and results and presents them internally and externally
3) Plans and supervises the development progress (timing) and the spending curve of the development budget
4) Develops concepts and supports respective benchmarks
5) Controls the feasibility and conducts design-FMEAs
6) Conducts tolerance investigations and develops dimensioning concepts
7) Plans and supervises prototype build, prototype tests and experiments
8) Participates in the preparation of testing specifications
9) Develops engineering specifications
10) Supports the value analysis and develops concepts for cost reductions
11) Prepares approvals according to the Milestone system
12) Provides technical documents for cost estimation
13) Supports the technical assessment of suppliers
14) Defines technical guidelines (drw, BOM,...) for design and cost estimation

・Development of Phasing Systems for Japanese OEM customers.

【Ensure P0/P1 Project performance】
・Ensure project objectives in terms of profitability (product and development), quality,cost, timing.
・Check and validate Project Team Members activities and propose timing scenario to achieve milestones.
・Could conduct concept competitions to obtain customer orders (prefer, on case by case..)
・Secure Project resources and control team.
・Solve all P0/P1 project issues with support of simultaneous engineering functions.
【Manage functionally and operationally P0/P1 Project Team with function contributors】
・Define and manage his/her budget(P0/p1 all resources).
・Define scope of projects.
・Prepare project phases reviews at PMC and PVC level.
・Prepare and submit CAA and IAR.
・Is functionally responsible of all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Menbers.
・Manages all project charges from customers.
・Report progress development progress to PMC.
