- 【Position Summary】
The Regional Manager, Technical Sales position defines the Regional OEM(s) Customer Account specific audio and noise management advanced technical product strategy for OEM’s (Region specific) global and regional vehicles/platforms. The Regional Management role supports the cross functional team responsible for creating value propositions that create the maximum value for company and our customers and supervises technical sales managers in the region. Continually optimizes the existing OEM Customer(s) (across a region) product and project portfolio to reduce component/system complexity, improve system performance, and drive value for the end consumer. Develops and maintains relationships with key technical decision makers at OEM’s in Audio, NVH, and Infotainment to collect intelligence and influence Customers forward product plans. Influences key Product Planners, Advanced R&D, and/or Marketing executives at the OEM to define new program specifications and/or ide

■求める経験
【Education】
・An undergraduate degree is required, ideally in Engineering. An MBA or advanced degree would be a plus, but significant business and technical accomplishments will be a more important consideration
・Ongoing Executive Training and Development desired
【Experience】
・Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of progressive combined business, customer management, technical account planning, and / or technical experience in the functional areas of engineering, product planning, account management, or business development
【Other requirements / skills / competencies】
・International customer facing technical and/or Commercial Account Management work experience within automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, Infotainment / Audio suppliers or Content providers (i.e. Pandora, XM/Sirrius) is desired
・Strong customer orientation while having the ability to balance and execute Division strategies and objectives within the context of the Company essence and values
・Knowledge of the engineering strategies of the major automotive manufacturers including product knowledge, product codes, logistics and inventory management is desired
・Extensive experience in automotive systems preferably electronics and / or software based; knowledge of audio systems, active noise reduction and sound management is required. Knowledge of other automotive subsystems including powertrain, body and interiors would be an added plus
・Thinks and acts innovatively; equally comfortable challenging the status quo internally or at the customer to generate creative technical and commercial solutions to grow the business
・Has the ability to lead a team in support of the company’s initiatives, including using tools to plan, budget, and manage cross-functional Customer Team activities independent of OEM customer, product and /or geographic region (as necessary)
・Confidently and competently handles multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change. Interacts effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, overcomes barriers, and shows resilience in the face of adversity and failure
・Ability to manage engagements with multiple customers in a region
・Knowledge of vehicle connectivity, mobility, and software innovation market trends
・Customer Service orientation and responds promptly to customer needs and requests for service/assistance. Meets commitments given to customers
・A strong focus on metrics, data, and financial results
